Attestation

Suppliers, marketplaces, payment providers or local authorities sometimes ask for proof that your store checks visitor age. The Attestation page generates that document in one click.

What it contains

Open Attestation in the app’s navigation. The generated document states, based on your live configuration at that moment:

• the store it applies to,
• whether age verification is enabled,
• whether the app embed is active on the published theme,
• the verification method (Yes/No confirmation or date of birth),
• the minimum age, and the number of countries with a specific age,
• where the gate applies (entire store, specific collections, or specific product tags),
• the generation date.

Printing or saving as PDF

Click Print / Save as PDF. The page is print-styled, so your browser’s print dialog produces a clean one-page document — choose “Save as PDF” as the destination to get a file you can email.

Good to know

• The attestation reflects your configuration at generation time. If you change settings later, generate a fresh one.
• The embed-active check verifies your published theme; if it reports the embed as inactive, revisit Setup, step 2.
• The document attests to your configuration — it is a diligence artifact, not a legal certification. As with the app itself, it does not constitute legal advice (Terms).
