Add the block to your theme
The storefront half of the app is a single app block called Personalization. You add it once to your product template; it then renders on every product where personalization is enabled, and renders nothing at all on other products.
Using the deep link (recommended)
Section titled “Using the deep link (recommended)”- In the app, open Home → Setup status → Add the block to your theme (the button appears while the block is missing).
- The theme editor opens with the block already inserted in your product template.
- Move it where you want it (typically below the variant picker, above the Add to cart button) and click Save in the top-right corner.
That’s it — one time, for all products.
Adding it manually
Section titled “Adding it manually”- In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes → Customize.
- Switch to a product page template using the template selector at the top.
- In the left sidebar, click Add block inside the product information section and pick Personalization under Apps.
- Position the block and click Save.
Block settings in the theme editor
Section titled “Block settings in the theme editor”The block exposes a few presentation settings, all translated:
- show or hide the block title,
- preview position (on the product image, or below the block),
- spacing adjustments.
Everything else — fields, fonts, colors, zones, pricing — is configured per product inside the app, not in the theme editor.
Multiple templates
Section titled “Multiple templates”If your store uses several product templates (e.g. product.jewelry), add the block to
each template that displays personalizable products. The app checks all product*
templates when detecting whether the block is present.
Featured product sections
Section titled “Featured product sections”On the Pro and Plus plans, the block can also be added to featured product sections on your home page or custom pages — see Featured product block.
