Production files (SVG)
For each personalized order line, the app can generate a production-ready SVG: the customer’s text, in the exact font and color they chose, as a self-contained vector file for your laser, engraver or cutting software.
What makes the file production-grade
Section titled “What makes the file production-grade”- Fonts are embedded in the SVG (the same open-source font files the customer saw in the preview) — the file renders identically on any machine, even one that has none of the fonts installed.
- Exact fidelity: the font and color are snapshotted on the order line at purchase time. Even if you later change the product’s configuration, the file reflects what the customer actually ordered.
- Self-contained: no external references, no network access needed — open it in Inkscape, Illustrator, LightBurn or your machine’s software as-is.
Downloading
Section titled “Downloading”Open an order’s detail view and click Production file on a personalized line. The SVG streams directly to your browser — nothing is stored outside your shop’s data.
Scope and design choices
Section titled “Scope and design choices”- Text sizing in the file uses a metric approximation; expect to scale the artwork to your object in your machine software, as you would with any artwork.
- Customer-uploaded images are not embedded; the order keeps the image link so you can download the original at full resolution.
